Check Out Gina Delhomme’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gina Delhomme.

Hi Gina , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I didn’t start Check On Your Girls Inc. because I had everything figured out, I started it because God placed the vision on my heart and I knew it was a needed space.

Like a lot of women, I was showing up for everyone else while quietly holding things in. It wasn’t until my close friends said, “we really don’t know you,” that I realized I wasn’t allowing myself to be supported the way they were trying to love me. That moment showed me how important safe spaces really are.

I saw that there weren’t enough real, judgment-free spaces where women could be honest about life so I created one.

What started as simple check-ins grew into something deeper. Women began showing up, opening up, and coming back for connection, healing, and growth. That’s when I knew this was more than an idea, it was purpose.

Now, I build with intention, creating spaces and resources that remind women they don’t have to lose themselves while managing life. And I’m still growing too but now I’m doing it in alignment, and I’m bringing other women with me.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road.
I’ve faced doubt, limited resources, and a lot of figuring things out without a clear blueprint, all while balancing real life, finances, and personal growth.

I also had to learn that everyone won’t understand or support the vision right away, and that’s okay. I’ve learned to stay consistent and measure impact by the real connections and encouragement from the women I serve, not just numbers.

One of the biggest challenges has been pouring into others while still pouring into myself. But every challenge has built my resilience, strengthened my faith, and reminded me why I started. Seeing how meaningful these check-ins are makes it all worth it.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am the founder of Check On Your Girls Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that creates safe, intentional spaces for women to be real about life while still growing through it.

Through our check-ins, guided conversations, and reflective interactive experiences, we focus on emotional, physical, and overall well-being. We help address barriers and negative beliefs while providing a village of support—our tribe—by collaborating with licensed therapists, certified health and beauty experts, community and executive leaders, other industry professionals and community resources.

We also curate reflective workbooks that promote open conversation, connection, and reflection, helping women explore healing, let go, reframe thinking patterns and move toward their goals in a healthier way.

I specialize in creating environments where women feel included, seen, and welcomed as they are, with no judgment, no pressure, no rush. I’m known for building comfort in vulnerability and helping women reflect in ways that lead to real growth.

What I’m most proud of is the impact, the messages, the conversations, and the women who say, “I needed this.” “This space is needed.” “I can see this growing into something bigger.” “Keep going.” That fuels my passion and purpose.

What sets me apart is that I’m growing, healing, and learning in real time alongside the women I serve. So when I create these spaces, it comes from a genuine, intentional place and our girls feel that.

Any big plans?
My future plans for Check On Your Girls Inc. are centered on growth with intention and expanding our reach and impact in a meaningful way.

I’m looking forward to expanding our in person and virtual check-ins so more women can access these safe spaces no matter where they are. I also want to deepen our partnerships with licensed professionals, therapists, and community leaders so we can continue to strengthen the support we offer through workshops and resources.

A big part of the vision moving forward is expanding our impact to young girls ages 6–18. This includes creating mother-daughter bonding series, summer initiatives for young girls, community involvement programs, and scholarship opportunities. I also envision educational workshops focused on mental health, physical health, finances, and overall life sustainability, helping to build a strong foundation early on.

In addition, I want to integrate more technology-centered check-ins to reduce print waste and improve accessibility, while continuing to build community partnerships that are fully aligned with our mission and vision.

Long term, I see Check On Your Girls Inc. becoming a community hub where women and girls don’t just attend programs, but grow, heal, and evolve through consistent support and connection.

At the core of it all, I’m not just focused on expanding in size, I’m focused on expanding impact, deepening connection, and making sure everything we build stays real, accessible, and transformative.
