We recently had the chance to connect with Quinton Daniels and have shared our conversation below.
Good morning Quinton, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What are you chasing, and what would happen if you stopped?
As a business owner, I’m all about efficiency and setting high standards. I want to create a platform that genuinely values independent music artists. I don’t think I’m special or better than anyone who came before me! What I am is motivated to follow what I believe God has called me to do, and that’s exactly what I’m doing! This is my purpose and my journey. I feel like if I stop, there would be a big gap left to fill. I’d feel like I’ve let my savior down, even though I know he loves me and will always be there for me, no matter what. That’s just how it would feel. So, I’m focused on doing things the right way, all for the kingdom.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Founder & CEO Quinton Daniels has formulated a Music Management Company focusing on Artist Development Est. 2025. Quinton was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is a husband and a father who values family. He recently held the position of Executive Vice President, of A&R at an Independent Record Label | where he continued to learn more about the industry and value of mentorship. Quinton now wants to pay it forward and help many artists grasp the essential knowledge of the music process, which is why “MusiQLynQ” was created. We’re driven to help Independent Christian Artists and Musicians reach their full potential. Our company strongly advocates for the success of creatives and wants to create a safe haven for Christian Creatives to develop and trust. MusiQLynQ has recently welcomed Christian artists Ryan Chew, Richie Belair, and Dizzy Livv. These exceptional creatives are making significant contributions to the kingdom of God. We’re continuously expanding and will persist in attracting like-minded creatives to our community.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
God knew me before I even knew myself. When we don’t really know God, we start doubting ourselves and focus on things that don’t help us, just dragging us down. We put ourselves in situations that aren’t good for our well-being. But when you really get to know God, you gain strength and wisdom. You’ll feel more confident about yourself and your goals! God will guide you and lead your way. Everything that was meant to hurt you will disappear at His command. Then, you’ll truly start to see yourself for who you are.
When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
Growing up where I’m from, you see a lot of pain around you. People are struggling, feeling lost, and worried about what tomorrow will bring. It’s tough knowing you might just be another statistic, another number in the system. It really hits hard when you realize you don’t have a fair shot at success. Many people from my background feel this pain and suffering, like they don’t have a voice! But when I really connected with God, I got the message. God told me to use my pain for something positive. Turn that pain into power so others can see my truth. Let them see what I already know about myself. Once I understood my worth, that’s when my power, gifts, and confidence really started to grow.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Whose ideas do you rely on most that aren’t your own?
The only person I trust is Jesus Christ, my Lord. His words aren’t just ideas; they’re the truth. He is the truth and the way. God’s words hit me deep, and I’ve gotten used to his light. Everything I do in my life has to be focused on his promise! Everything needs to have a purpose; otherwise, what’s the point? He’s who I depend on, and I know where my help comes from. That’s who I rely on!
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
Upon my departure, I hope that people will remember my deep passion for the kingdom. I wish for them to recognize my dedication to service, my willingness to engage in conversation, my outreach efforts, and my commitment to healing relationships. I want them to understand the profound love I have for my family, despite our differences. I acknowledge that I have not been perfect and do not seek to portray myself as such. However, I believe that my purpose on this earth has been guided by the Savior, with my mission centered on assisting at least one individual in transforming their life and discovering Christ. I genuinely feel that I am meant to be a leader among people. Therefore, when I leave this world, I hope my legacy embodies a life enriched by God and His faith in me.
