Hi Lane , thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
Integrity is the upmost important element of our team. You can have the knowledge and the Energy, but without integrity, you have nothing.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m a Storm Chaser and Photographer, Founder of Team Dauntless Storm Chasing, Based out of Illinois.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
Police Officers by the name of Rodger Smith and David Leach, Chatham Police Department
They taught me that i have more to life than being sad and gloomy, always pushing me to reach for my goals. Without them i wouldn’t be where I am today.
What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
You will never be enough.
These words haunt me. Yet, everyday i prove not only to myself but to them, that with great sacrifice comes great strength and courage.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
No, In my personal time, i’m very laid back, taking things day by day, hour by hour.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
If i had 10 years left? That’s a difficult one… I would say that I would stop getting involved with the wrong people. Time is irreversible, why spend time with the people that wouldn’t show up for you, when you can spend time with the ones who truly love you.
