The COVID-19 pandemic was a harsh blow to the hospitality industry, where I had worked for over a decade. Determined to turn adversity into opportunity, I set out to acquire new skills and unleash my entrepreneurial spirit. My journey was not always smooth, but I am grateful for the mentors who helped me stay focused and committed to my goals. Through hard work and dedication, I discovered the world of health insurance, which has become my calling. As a small business owner, I am proud to offer affordable health coverage solutions to individuals, families, and small business owners alike. My journey has taught me the value of perseverance, recognizing inner strengths, and having faith that things will always work out in the end.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Embarking on a new professional path can be daunting, especially when it’s outside of our comfort zones. As someone with a background in hospitality, transitioning into the world of health insurance was certainly challenging – especially when confronted with the hundreds of different options available on the public and private markets. However, through perseverance and dedication, I was able to learn about all the different health insurance products out there and improve my tech skills significantly. What started as difficulties transformed into opportunities to learn and grow, resulting in new acquired skills and strengths.

I love learning about new ways to shift my thought patterns, and believe it is crucial for personal growth. My meditation practice has taught me a lot about myself and has been transformational in more ways than I ever thought possible.
