Conversations with Alessandra Paolinetti

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alessandra Paolinetti. 

Alessandra, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started creating YouTube videos at the end of middle school, around 2013, and continued through high school, college, and now after graduation. My goal for creating content has always remained the same: make people happy. The idea that I could possibly provide even one person a few minutes of happiness a day is what I love most about creating and building a platform. In middle school and through high school so much of my happiness and even sense of purpose and community was through being in “fandoms” of creators, watching their content, and making other friends who liked them as well. I feel like that experience led me to this career path I was destine to start with. In college I leaned from YouTube into Instagram more and saw success unlike what I was seeing on YouTube. With the first 8 months of focusing on growing my Instagram account, I hit 10,000 followers and then a year later surpassed 100,000. From here I took to TikTok and grew to 250,000 before graduation college and recently moving to Los Angeles. 

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Starting social media before it was “cool” to came with a lot of bullying in high school, but it also caused me to learn not to care what others think of me, which I feel was a great reason to learn. Another obstacle in this field is consistency even when your content isn’t preforming the best. It can be discouraging sometimes, so you need to love making and posting content. When it does perform well though the self-satisfaction payoff is amazing! 

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in social media management, growth, and content creation, all of which I am beyond proud of, but recently I’ve started working on a new project with my 4 best friends that I feel so blessed to be a part of and excited to announce! Our project name is Iconic Behavior and more details will be coming soon on Instagram, but for now follow our TikTok @theiconicbehavior
