Nathalie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Being neat and organized has always been part of my DNA. Since I was a little girl, I loved to have organized drawers, closet, bedroom, and even my desk at school. I remember I used to tell my mom not to put my laundry away so I can do them myself in order to make sure they go in the right place (who wouldn’t want a kid like that right? Hahaha). Then my friends started asking me to go help them organize their closets and eventually their homes as they started moving out. Being organized also helped me with raising my son as a single mom. As you know raising a child isn’t easy between all the items they have, school, and extracurricular activities. I look back and really appreciate the fact that being organized and a planner really helped me stay on top of things. After two decades in investment banking and financial planning, I needed a change, and that’s when Neat Nathalie was founded. I wanted to share my joy for organization and the benefits it brings into people’s lives by having an orderly home. Every home my team and I work in we focus on efficiency, simplicity, and style customized to each individual’s lifestyle. Our clients come from all walks of life from busy moms to business owners to elderly clients. After being in business for 3 years, I have to say that I’ve never been happier and this has been one of the best decisions I made in my life. Looking back at all the spaces we transformed has been so much fun but what I value the most is all our clients’ lives that we have made an impact on. I look forward to keep helping people create the happiest version of their life, whether by Decluttering, Organizing, or Beautifying!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Starting a business is never easy. It takes hard work, grit, and a positive mind. The first two years in business I maintained my full-time job in investment banking while growing the business. I worked over 80hours a week and there were plenty of times I felt exhausted and ready to give up but I kept my eye on the goal and pushed through until I was able to transition to the business full time. I still work crazy hours as I love what I do and being a business owner, I feel your work never stops, you’re always finding something to do or have a new idea.

Home Organizing and design really gained popularity the past decade especially in recent years thanks to social media and tv streaming channels. I don’t see it slowing down, actually, I see it growing more demand as people are experiencing the benefits of having an orderly and beautifully styled home.
