Hi Amber, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
Grayson Interiors was birthed out of my passion for design which has been slowly cultivating throughout my entire life. When I was young, my mother and grandmother would take me shopping with them. That bond not only made our relationship stronger but kick-started my love for design.
Over the last 10 years, my passion went from a fun activity to a professional in the field. I have been able to educate not only myself but have various mentors all over the world and job opportunities to push me further into this field.
Nothing, however, has pushed me more than God and the path He has put in front of me. I am grateful for His guidance and faith in me to make this dream a reality.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Smooth road? Definitely not! Obstacles and challenges that have caused growth and my perspective shift?
Absolutely!
They always say hindsight is 2020 and ironically that is exactly the year my life changed forever. It was on the brink of 2020 that I was hired as a Scenic Set Stylist for HSN and during that time it was also when I had to truly make a decision about the direction of my company, face my fears, and be okay with being uncomfortable.
I struggled with self-sabotage like never before. I wondered if I really had what it takes to be a full-time business owner and chase my dreams of transforming lives through interiors.
I recall pondering on how much time, dedication, and perseverance I had with them and my previous jobs and came to the conclusion that I knew I would just as hard and even harder for Grayson Interiors.
When the load gets heavy, I pull out my journal, read those past entries, meditate and remember why I started.
