Today we’d like to introduce you to Edward Victoria.
Hi Edward, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I moved to Tampa, FL, back in 2004, from the South Bronx in New York City. I was young and didn’t really have a plan. I began working for a company called Air General, working cargo for Airlines Like British Airways, Lufthansa, and Swiss Air. I enjoyed working with freight and the logistics aspects of it. I also started working at Forward Air, a nationwide transportation company. While working at Forward Air I was recruited by Bax Global in 2006. Working at BAX is where I learned the final mile side of transportation. In 2009, I got a job opportunity to no manage a company called Quick Trip Express. The owner, Robyn Gyuru, at the time gave me the skill set to run my own business one day. fast forward 15 years, I now have my company Victoria Transports Service, specializing in warehousing, logistics, and final mile deliveries.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road. It’s a competitive industry. Who can do it the cheapest, as opposed to who can provide the best service? Also, people were not paying their bills on time. Sometimes, 45 to 60 days from the time the job was done. Sometimes even longer than that.

I’ve been immersed in the dynamic world of freight, gaining invaluable experience working alongside industry leaders like BAX Global, Forward Air, and Quick Trip Express in Tampa,FL during that time. This extensive background has provided me with a deep understanding of the intricacies of logistics, from seamless delivery solutions to complex supply chain management.
