Today we’d like to introduce you to Wendy Tejada
Wendy, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My dream has always been to generate income through my business idea. since I was a child I remember being an owner of a convenience store or entertainment business. so is hard for me to take this dream out of my mind. in the country where I am from I used to sell or make other activities out of my main job to make extra money. so is normal for me to do so. once I came to the United States I started selling on eBay. Amazon but I shut down my store since I understood that i did not have the money to pay for the tools and other services needed to succeed there.
In 2021 started my own candle business with my daughter I have an Etsy shop. the goal of this year is to improve the strategy to make more sales on this site. I have been making a market, and sponsoring events to make funds for your organization in my area. my dream is to be recognized as the best Realistic Candle store.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
it is not easy at all to achieve your dreams. there are always struggles along the way, it just depends on how hard you want this dream. but always keep in mind, that life is a road that can be modeled based on the thoughts that you keep, strategies, and positivism. I prefer to fail to try to achieve my goals instead of feeling regret for not trying. but in my head, there is no option for failure.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
i learn from scratch how to make candles, how to use different types of wax, molding, and tricks to mix fragrance. i have done 2 courses online and always research to learn from other new techniques.
What matters most to you?
for me to provide an excellent final product. that accomplishes the reason why it was created .
