Meet Eboni Gee

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Eboni Gee. Eboni was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Michelle Rhodes.

Eboni, can you walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I’m a nurse who desired to help people in a different way. I started my entrepreneurial journey teaching dialysis wellness and wanting to help people on dialysis find and maintain a level of well-being. I started thinking back to my direct care days and how I was dialyzing generations of families and moved to teaching kidney health. I wanted to help create healthier communities by helping to create healthier families. From here, I realized that finding time to make wellness a priority is really difficult for many people. Many people knew the basics of how to maintain a level of wellness, but actually being able to commit and be consistent was an issue. Organization, efficiency and implementation are some of thing things people ask me about a lot.

Staying organized, planning and prepping my tasks and seeing things through has always been a way of life for me. Somewhere along the journey of life, I lost me. I had no idea what I liked or enjoyed. I was so grateful for what I had and becoming resentful of it all at the same time. I began to understand that being able to accomplish things and stay consistent was indirectly related to actual time management. It was really about self-awareness and how you manage your life in totality. Your ability to have the freedom you desire, to grow and flourish in life is a really important part of being able and feeling capable of completing your work.

As an author, Registered Nurse, Entrepreneur, Wife, and Mother, I understand from experience how difficult it is to find yourself in the midst of living. My business is about being intentional and specific about how you live your life and operate in your businesses.

Please tell us more about your brand, Living with a Purpose
I help businesses take the next step after the strategic plan. I am a world-class implementer and I have a heart that is driven towards COMPLETED work! This also applies to personal lives, as I help insightful people get their minds and body in alignment by making time and space in their lives so that they can define their priorities, implement them with intention and live full out in joy, peace, and contentment. My approach is grounded in my nursing background, which emphasizes holistic care and treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. I believe that true productivity and success cannot be achieved without taking care of your physical, emotional, and mental well-being. I work with a diverse range of clients, from busy professionals to entrepreneurs, helping them prioritize their goals and create actionable plans to achieve them. My methodology rooted in empathy, active listening, and personalized support, which allows my clients to feel seen, heard, and understood in their unique challenges and aspirations. By being proactive and overcoming procrastination, we can increase overall work productivity and help individuals achieve their intentions and goals with greater efficiency and purpose. My mission is to empower people to reclaim their time and drive by supporting them in defining their priorities, creating a plan for what to accomplish, and supporting them in executing their plan with intention. It is important to understand that time management is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Each individual has their own unique circumstances and goals, and therefore, their time management plan should be tailored to their specific needs. As an implementation expert, I work with individuals to create a plan that is customized to their needs and goals, taking into account their personal circumstances and preferences. I am most proud of the lives and businesses I have able to touch. Seeing people actually bringing their plans and dreams to life is so fulfilling. I have found a lane in time management and personal development that I can thrive in with my unique perspective on the concepts.

So, as we mentioned to our audience earlier, you were introduced to us by Michelle Greene Rhodes and The Color of Wellness and we really admire them and what they’ve built. For folks who might not be as familiar, can you tell them a bit about your experience with The Color of Wellness.
I had been in business for five long years before I decided to work with Michelle as a coach. I suffered from wanting everything to be perfect which led to chronic inactivity. I would create and create, never feeling like anything was actually good enough to produce.

Michelle and I had been Facebook friends for awhile. I was I her Facebook group as well. Something about her and her approach spoke to me. Michelle has great intuition and knew that I was on the right path but not quite in my lane. She told me to trust the process and I committed to intentional action as I followed her coaching program. Michelle also helped me to dig deeper instead of going wider which really helped me develop key skills that every entrepreneur needs to succeed.

Every time we had our one on one session the clarity was I gained was amazing. In eight months I was able to land in the lane that was meant for me.

I admire Michelle so much because she practices what she teaches. She is honest about the work and dedication it will take to build your dreams. She is super supportive as you learn and gets you ready to take advantage of opportunities that come because preparation is key. I love how hard she goes for her students and how she deeply desires for us to win. She’s great at guiding you to a point where you can see what you need to do next and why which is so important to your longevity.

The Color of Wellness is an emerging leader on health equity and inclusion in many ways. The magazine not only educated, inspires and motivates the reader, it also gives nursing professional a platform to shine, educate and connect with our communities. As an executive contributor, I am able to reach so many people with my words and outlook on a variety of topics. This exposes me to so many people, businesses and communities that can use my help.

When you work with Michelle, you get training, coaching and real changes to connect with other people and build your business in a scalable way. I always tell incoming students that working with Michelle has been one of the two best decisions I have made in my business. If you are a nurse looking to get into media, whether it’s audio, video or in written form look no further. The energy Michelle brings and communities she develops are priceless and vital to your advancement.
