Hi Sheila, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
As a native of the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, I spent most of my years managing family-owned businesses in the retail and food industry, offering exceptional customer support and enthusiastic hospitality. During that time, my experiences and upbringing established moral foundations of God, family, and building long-lasting relationships.
I graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I also hold several certifications including becoming a Certified Halo Therapist with The Salt Therapy Association. The desire I have is to pass all the wonderful benefits of Dry Salt Inhalation Therapy on to my clients in a safe, healthy, and relaxing environment.
Recently alongside an amazing support system and team launched a new patent-pending scientific wellness system that incorporates dry salt therapy and red-light therapy in oxygen concentrated private booth setting. This is how Vitality Booth Wellness Center came to be.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like many of us, I have been challenged and affected by several events in my life.
I attended USF with two small children while my late husband was tending to work in Puerto Rico. I was able to graduate but it wasn’t easy. My husband passed away unexpectedly early in 2020 as Covid was beginning.
I cannot begin to explain the personal and professional turmoil that took place after his passing. But, somehow, I’m here.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
