Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Eagans.
Hi Brittany, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I got married myself at the ripe old age of 19. Once my wedding was over, I found that there was such a let down because of how much I missed the planning process. I knew at that point that I wanted to be in the industry. I feel like a lot of people have that story. They plan their own wedding and think, “why not” but the truth is it takes a very special personality to be able to put the work in, have the organization, and tolerate all kinds of personalities while simultaneously running an event. I personally love it and have never looked back. I briefly worked for another company in the industry and when it underwent some drastic changes, I decided to go out on my own and see how it turned out, which in my case has been the biggest blessing in life!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Nothing in life ever comes easy. Building a business takes a lot of hard work and perseverance. I’ve gone from owning my own company to working for another company that went under, back to owning my own company and climbing slowly “up the ladder” and there is still always a ways to go and room for improvement. We strive to be ever-growing and improving to serve our clients best, which always comes with struggle, but it’s worth it!

Be Wed is a boutique-style wedding planning and design business. We offer a variety of services to cover the clients’ needs, whatever they may be. Whether full planning or just a day-of coordinating or anything in between. We have become a company that has become obsessed with delivering a quality service to each and every client as well as a specialized wedding experience. We often keep in touch with the vast majority of our clients and are able to see them on new milestones in life. We have a unique style that I like to call the “pottery barn” type. With every wedding and event, we want to evoke a feeling of joy and comfort and make sure that each one we are part of reflects the couple in their own special way!
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I don’t think luck has much to do with it. Hard work and time invested, along with some major blessings thrown our way. I have prayed for the growth of business and to be able to positively impact each life I come in contact with, and that is always how the team strives to live and accomplish.
