Hi Byron, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I first started taking photographs when my uncle gave me a camera for my 16th birthday. I took pictures everywhere I traveled to and people really liked seeing them. After a few years of just taking pictures as a hobby, I decided to invest in myself and start a Photography Business. My first shoot was for a local Fashion brand (Hollywood Hamilton Clothing) and they gave me an amazing opportunity for growth. Now I work with a few businesses like Rene’s Mexican Kitchen, Babushkas, and more. Savij Photography was always just an idea, and now we shoot weddings, events, portraits, food, and more!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story, has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Due to Covid, I lost a lot of business because weddings were canceled, events were canceled, and no one wanted to meet in person anymore, so it was extremely difficult for a short time. I ended up changing my strategy and decided to help local businesses by not only taking photographs but also helping them post on social media and help grow their brands as well.

I’m a local Tampa Photographer that also runs Social Media accounts for a few local businesses. I specialize in Digital Marketing and Photography. I don’t only take photographs; I also help businesses grow by helping post high quality images on social media.
How do you think about luck?
I was in the right place, at the right time. I found out that my favorite clothing brand lost their photographer so I decided to contact them and asked them to give me a chance. Now I work with the brand every week.
