Today we’d like to introduce you to Paul LeRoy Gehres.
Hi Paul LeRoy, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Lucky LeRoy is an Aries. we love disco and chicken fingers. we have a New York City backstory & moved to Florida some years ago. we make Art constantly and try to sell it at The Factory St Pete. you can visit my studio LEROYLAND at The Factory St Pete whenever you feel like it. Please bring alot of money and your opinion.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
f*cking Highway to Hell. survival in a body with a brain that wants you dead is hard but we still here today. decorating makes we feel better. difficulties & failure are motivators. we cherish our failures as much as we relish success. my life is my research and we decorate with research. think Lari Pittman. whenever we disappointed – we decorate with disappointment. All there is is more.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
we are very proud & excited about my current (Sept 2026) show at Browne Art at The Station House in downtown St Pete. we have paintings, placemats and potholders FOR SALE. the show is called HOT HOT HEAT and it’s about Sexy Love. my Art is hanging right next to Judy Chicago prints they made at Graphics Studio! my portion is called PARDON WE and it explores Weaponized Forgiveness. Maybe this one potholder sort of sums the context of this work and it’s place in history “I’m Sorry I Came Before You.” You can purchase my Art at Brown Art
So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
Follow The Green Line to LEROYLAND at The Factory St Pete – bring lots of money and your opinion and whatever ideas you might be selling. Judge we and we will judge you – just buy my Art!
