Today we’d like to introduce you to Riley Weston.
Hi riley, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My Journey into graphic design started with working at a high street fashion supplier – we worked with brands like urban outfitters asos and many other large UK high street fashion brands. My job was to create graphics for garments. This started my passion for fashion graphic design. I then saw what I feel is a niche in the market which is merch design for bands – I would always go to gigs and be disappointed by the merch that they where selling so I wanted to change this myself so I started posting Tik Toks and on Insta and messaging bands asking to work with them and now I have worked with over a hundred bands and artist.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Its not its hard getting your name out there even getting a response and a lot of artists expect you to work for free or really cheap you get a lot of rejection and you deal with a lot of time wasters

I work designing posters, merch, ep covers and anything I can design wise to help level up the artists merch line social media and online presence – creating new exciting designs that the bands themselves are proud of and want to wear which translates to the fans
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memory to do with the creative industry – was meeting these youtubers I was massive fans of for years in a local art store – they inspired me to be an artist – shout out to doodledate
