Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I grew up in south Florida, a typical Florida boy, dark tan, short pants and flip flops. Went to public school and got into as much trouble as possible.
Was trained as a Surgical tech after high school.
Meet the love of my life at that time and enjoy married life for 43years until she passed.
I am a doctor of Chinese medicine. I came to Chinese medicine after the death of my father, I did everything a grieving son was supposed to do, and I got extremely ill behind his loss. My symptoms were so strange that I could not relate them to any pathology. But I knew I was sick and not crazy.
Seeking solace from my pathology, I made my way to Chinese medical clinic, found a school of Chinese medicine, one of only four in the US at that time. I found the kind of doctor I always wanted to be and never looked back.
I am a diplomat of the NCCAOM.
Have been in private practice for thirty-five years.
Also a paid public speaker for over 25 years. I speak of all health-related things through the lens of Chinese medicine.
I give a lecture program on the seven secrets of controlling pain at home, Chinese meds that should be in every home, how our emotions make us sick,ect.
There are available breakout sessions also.
I also have twelve other programs that I give on health-related problems.
I have been studying oil painting with the Florida highway. Men for 3 years now. I absolutely love the feeling of putting paint to canvas. And my instructors both original and second generation have been extremely kind and patient in my development of oil painting skills.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One of the greatest obstacles is the basic ignorance of traditional Chinese medicine by the American public. It is a standalone health system that treats 90% of what ails mankind, having an unbroken record of medical expertise and education for over 5000 years, providing a form of medicine with no known side effects.
My patient base is from three months old to end of life. I see a lot of V.A. patient for pain relief and stress.
A huge obstacle is the lack of insurance reimbursement for this kind of care. And a general ignorance of what we do by the western medical establishment.
We’ve been impressed with Meridian acupuncture center., but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We see patients, Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays by appointment.
I always do a free consultation because I don’t think you should have to pay a doctor just to find out. If you can be helped.
And I treat such a wide range of maladies, allergies, stress, digestive problems, pain just too many to name.

We do free stress reductions for the community at large military law enforcement firefighters, teachers and students.
