Today we’d like to introduce you to Karla Denisse Pacheco.
Hi Karla Denisse, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am a proud Puerto Rican woman who, nine years ago, made the courageous decision to move to Florida in search of a better life. With two young children and significant financial challenges, I carried a vision: to give my kids access to greater educational opportunities and to grow emotionally, intellectually, and professionally myself.
The beginning was far from easy. I didn’t speak the language, and I had to leave my children in Puerto Rico temporarily while I worked to establish myself. Those were stressful, painful times—but I refused to give up. I was determined to build a future that would honor the sacrifices I was making.
In the midst of this transition, I faced a personal struggle. I turned to food for comfort, and my health suffered—I reached 295 pounds and felt emotionally broken. But that moment became a turning point. I reconnected with a nutrition company I had known before and began visiting a local store that sold products which had once helped me. What started as a search for health became something much greater: I built relationships, found community, and discovered a new purpose.
That purpose transformed into an entrepreneurial journey. What began as a business has become my mission—to help others discover their best selves. After losing 100 pounds, I now dedicate myself to guiding people not only in their physical health but also in their personal growth. My story is proof that challenges can become stepping stones, and that resilience, faith, and vision can turn adversity into a calling.
Today, I stand here not just as someone who overcame obstacles, but as someone who is living her purpose: empowering others to rise, transform, and embrace the life they were meant to live.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been easy to have my own business, to survive challenges, or to try to move forward on this path. I believe that in life, very few things come easily.
I started my business in 2019 together with my husband, and soon after the pandemic arrived. That forced us to reinvent ourselves from our garage, where we experimented with different techniques to attract clients. Shortly after, my mother faced serious health challenges that kept us visiting hospitals many times. Finding clients in the middle of a pandemic, introducing a product that many people didn’t yet know, and inviting others to join us in the business—these were some of the struggles we confronted.
But without a doubt, the greatest challenge and reward has been my personal growth. Learning to understand the flow of my business, growing as a person to connect with different audiences, and maturing both emotionally and spiritually has been a process that has required great effort and dedication—and it continues to this day.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
At The Move Nutrition, we are more than a business—we are a community. Our foundation is built on nutrition and results, but our true strength lies in the lasting relationships we create with our clients, distributors, and everyone who chooses to surround themselves with positivity.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
We love the diversity of cultures in our city—it allows us to diversify and reinvent ourselves every day to meet every taste. Truly, there is nothing we don’t enjoy about Auburndale. It is a kind, beautiful city, full of warmth and human connection.
