Hi Miss , thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
What brings me JOY is: Miss Rek! I have went back to my roots of music and loving every minute of it! My single “Find Joy” explains to the listener the choice I made- We make in order to be at your very best. JOY is a choice and we have to “dig deep in our souls…” to find it sometimes and that is OK.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello There!
My name is Miss Rek and I’m singer, musician, songwriter, and lyrisist.
People call me: The ENCOURAGER! This is my brand and sole focus in every song I write and/or compose.
I use my gift of music to share my story to help, guide and provide wisdom on life choices. There is no judgment here. I believe we all have a story… a testimony to share.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
My journey was simple but heavy. I had expectations to be a: Lawyer or Educator.
Funny things is… I accomplished both and currently work in higher education at my alma mater law school.
What fear has held you back the most in your life?
Disappointing my parents.
They are such great loving and caring people amd set the bar very high by being trail blazers in education; both secondary and higher.
Of course I want to make them proud as I am their legacy.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?

I want people to understand and realize their full potential. We all have a God-given assignment in this life and when you recognize what it is… you must do what is necessary to accomplish it.
