Hi Chris, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Trevor, Taylor and Chris started playing escape rooms together in 2021. After playing quite a few notable games in Orlando and catching the escape room bug, we decided to enter the escape rooms industry to pursue creating exciting immersive escape experiences.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We have had many ups and downs. The escape rooms industry is not an easy one to enter into. We spent a few years working frontline at other escape rooms and helping build and design games to get a better understanding of how it all works. Finding a location can be even harder, but we ultimately found the perfect place to start our escape room owner journey.

Evasive Escape Rooms is a fully immersive escape room experience in Sarasota, Florida. We are proud to offer games unlike any other in the Sarasota and surrounding area. Out experiences are not just escape rooms, but full on immersive experiences. There are elements of climbing, crawling, actor interactions, high tech and puzzles that will satisfy any player, whether a beginner or experienced.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
We always will tell those who want to get into the escape rooms industry into to start by working at one. Get a job as a game master and learn the ins and outs of how running an escape game works. Start learning how the game operates from a technical side and try and be part of new game developments. It’s all essential if wanting to open your own escape company.
