Meet Hillary Singer of Dr. Hillary Singer, LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hillary Singer.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I am a Florida native born and raised, and attended my undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral residency spanning all the corners of the State. I am thrilled to have started my private practice home in the Sunshine State.

My practice is based on the belief that most concerns driving us to seek help involve gaining clarity, pursuing purpose or connection, or finding peace. My job is to connect with you in a meaningful way so that we can work together to move closer to those goals. One of my passions is helping people pursue their potential, while finding a deep sense of self-love and confidence. I am simply thriving most when I can assist others in feeling good about themselves.

I am a cognitive-behavioral therapist with an emphasis on a strengths-based and positive psychology orientation. I believe in knowing and using what you are good at to promote resiliency, and to strive to thrive rather than just reduce problems and distress. It is important in therapy to be flexible and adaptive, which is why I include a variety of effective and appropriate evidence-based practices. At this time, my practice works exclusively online with adults and emerging adults.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
One of my biggest professional challenges was discovering my niche after starting my private practice. Over time, I realized that supporting and empowering women is not only a passion of mine, but also a natural direction for my work and the growth of my practice.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
With years of specialized clinical experience in stress and anxiety, I’ve supported individuals navigating a wide range of challenges—including social anxiety, obsessive thinking, panic attacks, chronic stress, low self-esteem, body image concerns, and confidence struggles. My therapeutic approach focuses not only on easing the emotional and physical toll of stress and anxiety, but also on helping clients build long-lasting tools, deepen self-awareness, and tap into personal strengths to face future challenges with resilience.

In addition to anxiety treatment, I have a strong focus on women’s mental health. This includes support around identity development, self-worth, relationship issues, motherhood transitions, postpartum care, and parent coaching. I am deeply passionate about helping women navigate the many roles, expectations, and pressures placed on them—empowering them to feel seen, supported, and capable on all paths and in all seasons of life.

How do you think about luck?
I’ve been fortunate to meet incredible colleagues who have enriched both my practice and my life. While I don’t tend to give too much weight to external factors, I believe that meeting the right people—both personally and professionally—often comes from consistently showing up with openness, curiosity, and just a touch of luck.
