Hi Lauren, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My path to JETSET began with a deep love for design, wellness, and community. When I discovered JETSET Pilates, I was immediately drawn to its modern, results-driven method and elevated brand philosophy. It aligned perfectly with how I believe people should experience movement — intentionally, beautifully, and with purpose.
After opening our Downtown and South Tampa studios, the response from the community was incredible. Watching people connect, grow, and transform through JETSET has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey as a franchise owner. Carrollwood felt like the natural next step to continue that momentum.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Like any meaningful journey, it hasn’t always been smooth — but every challenge has shaped how we operate today. Opening multiple boutique studios comes with layers of complexity: navigating permitting delays, construction setbacks, and the learning curve that comes with scaling a people-first business.
Early on, one of our biggest lessons was understanding how to balance speed with sustainability. We move fast — our team is passionate and driven — but ensuring that each studio maintains the same level of excellence, energy, and member experience takes constant refinement and communication.
We’ve also experienced the growing pains that come with expansion — from managing buildout costs to developing strong systems for training, marketing, and team development across multiple locations. But every obstacle has strengthened our foundation. We now have a rhythm, a trusted team, and a deep appreciation for the process.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite childhood memories is helping my mom find a home when I was in middle school. I can still remember visiting the construction site with her, walking through the framing, and watching the space come to life week by week. Seeing the details come together — from plans on paper to an actual home — completely fascinated me.
That experience sparked my love for real estate and design, but even more than that, it showed me how meaningful it is to create spaces where people feel at home. That same feeling carries into everything I do today — from real estate to JETSET Pilates — building places that make people feel welcome, inspired, and connected.
