Hi Raya, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Raya began her journey over 10 years ago as a solo aesthetic practice owner after moving to Tampa from New Mexico. Soon after opening her business, she hired her first employee and launched a storefront. Within five years, she had grown her team to 10 and built a seven-figure business. Three years ago, she sold her business for a 3x multiple and shifted her focus to Bosses in Beauty, an online program that teaches aesthetic business owners how to grow and scale their brick-and-mortar businesses using her 10+ years of experience in aesthetics and entrepreneurship. Along the way, Raya has also become a proud mom of three and a wife.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Anyone who owns a business and manages a team knows there are both big wins and significant challenges. Raya navigated unprofessional landlords, lawsuits, employees leaving, and chronic stress that even contributed to an autoimmune disease.

Bosses in Beauty is an online education platform and community designed specifically for aesthetic business owners estheticians, medspa owners, and beauty professionals who want to grow and scale their brick-and-mortar businesses.
