Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelly Heckel.
Hi Kelly, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
HK Services, LLC was founded out of opportunity, perseverance, and a passion for helping others.
I started my journey working for a local roofing company, handling permitting and administrative work. After Hurricane Ian in 2023, several salesmen I worked closely with decided to launch their own roofing business and asked me to manage their permitting. That’s when I officially formed HK Permitting & Notary Services.
Around that same time, I began researching small business opportunities for sale in my area. I came across a home watch business in Venice, Florida, and through that connection, discovered another opportunity closer to home in Fort Myers. After connecting with the owner, we made a deal for me to purchase his client base — and the home watch side of the business was born.
Since then, I’ve been growing the HK Home Watch division one client at a time through referrals and local advertising. As our services expanded, we rebranded under HK Services, LLC — becoming a one-stop shop for reliable, trusted local services.
This past year, we launched HK’s Party Specialty, offering unique party planning, décor, and coordination for smaller weddings and intimate gatherings. The response has been incredible, and we’re so excited to continue creating memorable experiences for our clients.
And we’re not stopping there — we’re working on another exciting addition to the HK family, set to launch next year. Stay tuned!
