Hi Jason, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
After years in management, I decided to take a leap of faith and pursue entrepreneurship by starting my own photo booth business. The inspiration came from our nephew’s wedding, where he had rented a 360 booth. Seeing the fun, laughter, and excitement it created sparked something in us; we knew we wanted to bring those same moments to others.
Since then, our journey has been onward and upward. We’ve had the pleasure of serving events across the Tampa Bay area, meeting incredible people, and sharing in countless celebrations. Each event reminds us why we do what we do: to bring joy, connection, and lasting memories to every occasion.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Breaking through in a highly competitive Tampa Bay market for photo booths has been no small task. What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson we’ve learned is that our work is really about people, not equipment. The booth may be the tool, but the true experience happens in the moments of connection—the laughter, the nervous smiles, the families squeezing in together, the friends celebrating big milestones. Every event has its own rhythm, its own energy, and its own story. Learning to listen to our clients, understand their vision, and adjust to the mood of the room has been one of the most valuable parts of our journey.
We’ve also learned the importance of staying adaptable and willing to grow. This industry evolves quickly, and every event teaches us something new about lighting, flow, timing, design, or what guests respond to. Challenges—whether in marketing, competition, or pricing—have reminded us that passion, consistency, and genuine care will always outlast trends.
Above all, we’ve learned that what truly sets us apart is the heart we bring into every space we step into.
