Community Highlights: Meet Kevin Wallace of NewLife Holistic Wellness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kevin Wallace.

Hi Kevin, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up in a home full of love, even if we didn’t have much money. My parents were like retired hippies who always encouraged me to be myself. That made me embrace being different from a young age, and that individuality shaped who I became, even though it sometimes made me stand out in ways that weren’t always easy.

As I moved through life, I faced a lot of resistance and challenges fitting in. I learned to adapt—becoming a kind of social chameleon. That skill helped me survive in different environments, but it also pulled me away from my true self. Eventually, I found myself struggling with negative self-talk and habits that didn’t serve me.

Family has always been a big part of my life. I’m a dad to two amazing boys from different relationships, and I’ve also been “Uncle Kevin” to many of my friends’ children over the years. I love kids. Being a positive influence in their lives has always been a huge source of joy for me.

My turning point really came when I hit rock bottom. I realized I had a choice: either live my life fully or give up. And since giving up wasn’t truly what I wanted, I made a commitment to life. That decision was the start of my transformation. I immersed myself in personal development—teachers like Tony Robbins and Eckhart Tolle helped me understand that it wasn’t just about quitting bad habits, but about healing the deeper wounds and finding practices that truly served me. From there, I replaced destructive patterns with meaningful practices and completely transformed my life.

All of these experiences led me to holistic wellness coaching. I realized that people don’t need a one-size-fits-all solution. They need someone who understands that transformation is messy, personal, and deeply human. Today, I help people who feel stuck finally create lasting change by integrating movement, mindset, nutrition, and energy work to help them reconnect with who they really are.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. I’ve faced a lot of personal and internal battles—like struggling to fit in, losing my sense of identity, and using unhealthy habits to cope with pain and self-doubt. I had a moment where I hit rock bottom and had to decide if I was really going to live my life or give up. That choice—to live fully—is what sparked my transformation. I’ve also had to rebuild my life multiple times, sometimes from scratch, and step away from relationships and environments that no longer supported who I was becoming. But every challenge sharpened my understanding of what people truly need when they feel stuck or lost. Those hard-earned lessons are now the foundation of the work I do.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
NewLife Holistic Wellness is a multidimensional wellness practice that helps people create lasting transformation in their health and lives. My main focus is the Total Transformation coaching program—a comprehensive, holistic journey that builds the strong foundations for living a successful and fulfilling life in your human body. It’s like the instruction manual for being human that no one ever received—focusing on mindset work, personalized nutrition, and practical tools to help you become the best version of yourself.

In addition to that core offering, I also provide a variety of classes and programs that support holistic well-being. This includes the Strong Foundations class, which focuses on foot-centric movement and balance, the Morning Activation class for daily mobility and energy, and upcoming mobility classes. Each offering is designed to meet people where they are and support them in a balanced, supportive way.

Ultimately, everything I do is about helping people reconnect with their body, mind, and spirit, and I’m proud that NewLife Holistic Wellness offers an integrative approach that supports lifelong well-being.

What makes you happy?
What makes me happy is a mix of the simple joys and the deep love of learning. I find happiness in spending time with my family, tending to our garden, or just enjoying the peaceful moments by the koi pond. I’m also a lifelong autodidact—diving into everything from close-up magic and music to juggling and solving Rubik’s cubes. I’ve taught music, played multiple instruments, and I love exploring all these little passions. They’re all part of what makes me who I am.

Ultimately, what truly makes me happy is witnessing the wonder of life. I have a real zest for living, and I believe happiness is about embracing the adventure of being human—taking the sadness with the joy and recognizing that life is a beautiful journey. So, whether I’m helping others find their path or simply enjoying a quiet moment in nature, that’s where my happiness lives.
