Meet Kristine Cuccia of Harmony Haven

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristine Cuccia.

Hi Kristine, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey began after overcoming Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. About a year and a half after completing my chemotherapy treatment and being declared in remission, I started experiencing severe nerve pain and anxiety. These latent onset and lingering side effects left me feeling hopeless. I tried nearly every holistic practice imaginable to find relief, but nothing seemed to work.

Then a friend suggested a sound bath. I hadn’t ever heard of it before, but I was willing to try anything, so I laughed and asked if I needed to bring a swimsuit – I had no idea what to expect! But from the moment the instruments began to play, something profound shifted. I felt an indescribable sense of peace and renewal. That night, I slept pain-free for the first time in months. I knew immediately that sound was the missing piece in my healing journey.

That experience sparked a deep curiosity to understand how and why it worked. I enrolled at the Meditate School of Mindfulness and Sound, where I became a certified Advanced Sound Healing and Vibrational Therapies Practitioner. I wanted to bring that same transformational experience that I felt to others and create a space that blends science, serenity, and soulful connection. And that’s how Harmony Haven began.

Today, I facilitate community sound baths and personalized one-on-one sessions designed to help others find balance, serenity, and renewal, just as I did. I truly believe sound is medicine for the mind, body, and spirit.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
When you’re truly passionate about something, the learning never really stops. I’ve spent countless hours studying, attending trainings, and learning from incredible mentors who have guided me along the way. My background in biomedical sciences has helped me better understand the fascinating connection between sound, vibration, and the body on a deeper level.

The biggest challenge has been helping people understand that everyone can benefit from sound healing. While mindfulness and meditation have become more mainstream, sound and vibrational therapy are still new to many. Some people think it’s a trend until they experience it for themselves. I’ve watched skeptics walk into a session unsure of what to expect and leave feeling calm, centered, and deeply moved. That’s what keeps me inspired — watching people shift from curiosity to transformation through the power of sound.

As you know, we’re big fans of Harmony Haven. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Harmony Haven is a sanctuary for intentional healing and energetic alignment. I offer both group sound baths and personalized one-on-one sessions designed to help clients find deep relaxation, clarity, and balance.

Beyond traditional sound healing. I am an Integrated Holistic Practitioner with certifications in somatic therapy, embodied transformation, trance work, Reiki, forest bathing, and sacred ceremonies. I provide a variety of individualized services, including tuning fork therapy, chakra balancing, and aura clearing. My signature Meditate & Manifest journey is a personalized guided meditation and affirmation experience tailored to each client’s goals.

I also specialize in creating customized sound healing experiences for corporate wellness retreats, team-building workshops, stress-reduction sessions, and special celebrations such as birthdays or girls’ weekends. Whether it’s for a business or a private gathering, each experience is thoughtfully designed to foster relaxation, connection, and inner harmony.

What truly sets Harmony Haven apart is the intentionality behind every offering. Each experience is artfully curated and often in collaboration with other wellness practitioners to combine sound healing with modalities like yoga, breathwork, nature immersions, or art therapy. Every event is unique, immersive, and crafted to leave a lasting energetic imprint of peace, balance, and renewal.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
I’ve always been drawn to the trees and the quiet of the forest. Some of my happiest childhood memories are exploring the Catskill Mountains in New York, wandering among towering pines, and listening to the wind through the leaves. I spent hours with my horses, riding along trails, feeling the rhythm of their hooves and the calm of the woods around me. Those early adventures taught me the restorative power of slowing down, breathing deeply, and simply being — experiences that later planted the seeds for the intentional mindfulness I bring to my work today.
