Today we’d like to introduce you to Tetiana Kondratenko.
Tetiana, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started my career in hospitality and retail, where I learned how much details and genuine connection matter. For a long time I poured myself into building other people’s businesses, but becoming a mom shifted my perspective. I realized how often women give everything to others and forget to care for themselves.
That realization pushed me to create something of my own. I wanted to create something real, made by women, all clean, eco friendly, and organic. I didn’t want to sell just anything, I wanted to make sure that every person who opened a box felt like they were getting a special moment. Something that felt supportive, intentional, and beautiful.
Every step of my journey, from customer service to management to brand building, has shaped the way I work today. It has been about blending professional skills with personal passion and slowly turning an idea into something real.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. Being the only person behind the scenes means I wear every hat from marketing to operations to customer service and product development. Some days I feel like an octopus, pulled in too many directions at once. The biggest struggle has been balance. I often feel guilty that I am not giving enough to my family and friends while trying to give everything to the business.
What keeps me going is knowing why I started and the impact I want to create. It is not always easy and I’m still learning how to celebrate small wins, ask for help when I need it, and remind myself that building something meaningful takes time and patience.
We’ve been impressed with BARElyREADY, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is about creating more than just products. It is about creating moments. I wanted every box to feel like a pause, a reminder that you are seen and cared for. Everything is clean, eco friendly, and made by women-owned brands whenever possible. I am very intentional about curation, making sure that each item feels special and serves a purpose.
What sets me apart is that I do not want to sell things just to sell. I want to create an experience that feels supportive and meaningful. I am proud that my brand has a soul behind it, that it speaks to women who are tired, busy, or simply in need of a little love.
Readers should know that each box is designed to feel like a gift, whether you are sending it to someone else or to yourself. It is about care, beauty, and honesty. I am not here to push another product into the world. I am here to create something real that brings comfort, a smile, and a sense of belonging.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
My biggest advice is to always be open to learn. Every person you meet can teach you something, whether it is a big lesson or a small one. I try to approach conversations with curiosity rather than expectation, and that mindset has helped me make genuine connections. Networking is not just about finding the right person to help you, it is about building relationships, listening, and staying open. Some of the most valuable insights I have received came from unexpected places and people.
