Hi Susan, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started my career in marketing more than 18 years ago, working with organizations across industries and learning how strategy, creativity, and relationships drive real results. Over time, I realized there was a gap in the Southwest Florida market for a marketing and public relations partner that truly combined big-picture strategy with local insight.

That’s why I founded Frantz Marketing Solutions — to bring a local-to-local approach to marketing that blends data-driven strategy with authentic storytelling. Today, our firm partners with businesses and nonprofits across Southwest Florida and beyond, helping them grow through integrated campaigns spanning strategy, content, advertising, public relations, and social media.

What began as a one-woman consultancy has evolved into a full-service agency known for building strong client relationships, measurable impact, and a reputation for elevating the brands we serve.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but that’s part of what has shaped who we are today. We launched Frantz Marketing Solutions just before the COVID-19 pandemic, which meant that in our earliest days, we were navigating uncertainty right alongside our clients. Businesses were facing closures, budget cuts, and the challenge of reaching their audiences in completely new ways.

One of our biggest struggles was learning how to adapt quickly while still providing real value. We had to pivot strategies overnight, lean into budget-friendly digital marketing and PR more than ever, and serve as a steady partner to clients who were themselves unsure of what the future would look like.

Those challenges, while daunting, helped us build resilience and flexibility into the DNA of our agency. It taught us to focus on relationships, clear communication, and creative problem-solving. Looking back, I don’t think we’d be as strong or as client-focused today without having weathered those early obstacles.

At Frantz Marketing Solutions, we’re a full-service marketing and public relations firm based on the Gulf Coast of Florida, but with a reach that extends far beyond. We help businesses, medical practices, and nonprofits grow by combining strategy, creativity, and authentic storytelling. Our services span the entire marketing funnel, encompassing internal and external marketing modalities from call center talk tracks to strategy, content, advertising, public relations, and social media, so that our clients have an integrated approach that works together to drive results.

What sets us apart is our local-to-local philosophy. We don’t just build campaigns; we build community, champions, and advocates for our clients. We’re known for blending data-driven insights with relationship-focused storytelling, making sure our clients’ messages resonate both online and in person. Many agencies talk about results, but we’re proud that our work translates into measurable growth while also strengthening our clients’ connection to their audiences.

If there’s one thing I’d want readers to know, it’s that we truly care about the businesses and people we work with. We’re not here to check boxes — we’re here to create stories and strategies that matter, and to help our clients grow in ways that are meaningful, sustainable, and measurable.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Over the next decade, I see marketing and public relations becoming even more driven by technology, but with a human touch that’s more important than ever. Artificial intelligence is already transforming how we create, distribute, and measure content. It is allowing agencies like ours to work smarter, uncover deeper insights, and personalize experiences at a scale we have never seen before.

That said, I believe the heart of our industry will always be relationships and trust. AI can provide tools, but people still want to do business with people they believe in. The brands that succeed will not be the ones that simply automate everything; they will be the ones that use technology to enhance personalization while still building authentic connections.

I think we will also see a continued shift toward transparency and values-based marketing. Audiences want to know not just what a brand does, but what it stands for. In many ways, this is already happening, but over the next 5 to 10 years, it will become the standard rather than the exception.

At Frantz Marketing Solutions, we are leaning into this future by blending cutting-edge tools like AI with our local-to-local approach. For us, the goal is to harness innovation while never losing sight of the relationships and trust that are at the center of every successful campaign.
