Today we’d like to introduce you to Emily Eldh.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey to astrology was not linear! Like many healers, you’ll find a common thread line through their stories – a trauma occurred that lead them to their gifts. When I was 18 I suffered from a neurological attack that basically sprung my ‘spiritual awakening’ as they call it onto me. Haha, I was suddenly very sensitive to all things – I couldn’t watch the same fear-inducing shows or movies I once used to. Large groups became overwhelming. I couldn’t tolerate alcohol or inflammatory foods. My body was essentially cleansing its vessel to be a more high frequency version of myself. In this process I became very interested in all ideas of where we came from, holistic healing, concepts like astrology and human design. It wasn’t until I started my separate business The Muffin Drop at 23 when I started really looking into astrology and applying it to my life, and as guidance for my business. I would even utilize employee birth charts in place of a common personality tests to explore their strengths to help them thrive. I became very obsessed with consuming all I could about astrology, not knowing it would lead to today where I now teach astrology classes and offer 1:1 birth chart readings. I view this ‘work’ as healing work. The opportunity to offer my light to hopefully guide others. I am super grateful this practice found me, even though I often say it feels like remembering rather than learning. It all feels super familiar to me.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Once again this has not been a linear path. I didn’t wake up one day and go “let’s teach people about astrology!” What I did do was start sharing my astrology takes this past winter on my personal Tik Tok for fun. I love that app so much as it connects you to so many interested individuals you would likely not meet on any other app. Pretty soon after I started posting astrology videos something in the algorithm clicked. I had a few videos that blew up and it showed me that maybe I should start pursuing this. This also catalyzed my first astrology class, where I was invited into a studio to teach. This more so proved to myself that all of the information I had been amassing was for a reason, and now it was my time to share it.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I view astrology as a language that comes in many different forms – we all metabolize it differently. I view what I share as my language, and those who are attracted to it will resonate with it / me! I come from a very light perspective that always aims to entertain and heal. I will never instigate fear through my practices. I just like to show you your light and the impact you can make on the world with your gifts.
