Donnald, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
For me, integrity comes first — being honest with yourself is the foundation for growth. Next is energy, because focus determines where your life goes. Intelligence comes last, since it takes time and experience to develop. Integrity and energy create the space for intelligence to grow.”
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Donnald Williams, I’m from Tampa, Florida. I’m 24 years old and currently the owner of Flare Phone Cases, where I focus on bringing phone cases to life. Each case is a unique experience, designed and personalized for every customer. Right now, I’m working on expanding Flare globally so that people everywhere can have a one of a kind case that not only protects their phone but also serves as a personal connection to their lives.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Before the world told me who I had to be, I was always ambitious and naturally competitive. As a kid, I sometimes struggled with where to channel that energy, and I had to learn not to let frustration turn into anger. I spent a lot of time reading books in my free time, using them as a way to expand my imagination and knowledge. I also loved playing with my WWE action figures, creating stories and matches — it was my way of bringing creativity and fun into everyday life. Even then, I always found ways to enjoy myself while still pushing to be better
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
One kind thing I would say to my younger self is: thank you for being patient. Thank you for waiting, for trusting the process, and for attracting the best not only out of yourself but also out of the people around you.

the public version of me is the real me. I’m a down to earth guy who enjoys the finer things in life, but I also like to keep it comfortable and real. I love being able to connect with people, spark good conversations, and just create an authentic vibe wherever I’m at.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
When I’m gone, I hope people will say I was a man who pursued his goals with determination, not only for myself but also to uplift my family and community. That I faced challenges from a young age and turned them into opportunities to grow, lead, and inspire others. Most of all, I’d like to be remembered as someone who made a lasting positive impact and left the world better than I found it.
