Vincent, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day are critical to the success of my day. Wake up, prayer, water, banana, no screens for 15 minutes. Head to my desk and start checking off tasks on my time-blocked whiteboard from the night before.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
After being left for dead, his world changed. Vincent A. Lanci was hit by a car while walking, which left him in a coma. After surviving, his world changed from seeking a financial position to sharing his story and helping others use their voices. From sitting behind the desk, to a 4x Podcast Series Host, including 2 Top Global Shows.
Left for Dead Incorporated was first created to focus on his writing and speaking endeavors. He expanded the company to include Coming Alive Podcast Production, offering full-service podcast assistance and custom branding tools. He aims to help others find their unique voice and create impactful, high-quality content.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who taught you the most about work?
My parents. I watched my dad wake up and be out the door by 5 AM every day, with my mom working each day as well.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Give yourself grace – the self-imposed expectations and pressure as an entrepreneur are a lot to handle.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
You need an expensive setup to podcast. I used a headset for 500+ podcast episode recordings. Another myth is that you need to do it all yourself or have the time – there are many experts ready to streamline your process.
