Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Juliette Cherry of Riverview Fl

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Juliette Cherry. Check out our conversation below.

Juliette, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What is a normal day like for you right now?
A normal day for me consists of getting my children off to school, meditating, going through a yoga routine, and preparing a healthy breakfast. I usually take care of administrative tasks first thing in the morning for the business, and then I head to the lash and brow studio. I take a few clients until the late afternoon, and then I’m home to greet my favorite little people and be a full-time mom for the rest of the day.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, my name is Juliette Cherry, and I’m the founder of Juliette’s Lash Therapy. What started as my love for skin care and lashes has grown into a salon where we specialize in eye lash extensions, lash lifts, brow laminations, and other beauty services. But honestly, it’s more than just lashes for me. It’s about giving people a moment of self-care, a boost of confidence, and a place where they feel comfortable and cared for.

As a teen mother, I learned early on how to balance responsibility, resilience, and love. Now I get to work side by side with my daughter, which brings me so much joy and adds a special warmth to the studio. Over the years, I’ve learned how to juggle business, family, and personal growth, and I bring that same focus and intention into every part of my work.

Today, I’m expanding my impact beyond services. I’ve grown my business to include suites for other beauty and wellness professionals, because I believe in creating space for entrepreneurs to succeed together. Through Mindful Beauty Academy, I mentor other lash artists and on how to build successful, sustainable businesses with integrity. I also host the Mindful with Juliette podcast, where I share affirmations and conversations that support mindfulness, healing, and personal growth. My mission is clear: to inspire others to embrace their beauty inside and out, while empowering people to grow with confidence, balance, and purpose.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
The first time I remember truly feeling powerful was when I decided to become a mother. I was still a teenager, but I chose to take on that responsibility, and it forced me to grow up fast. I had to step into being a woman and a leader before I even fully understood what that meant. That decision showed me my strength and resilience, and those same qualities still guide me today in motherhood, business, and life.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I’d tell my younger self not to give up. Trust yourself, trust the process, and trust your dreams. Everything you imagine for yourself is possible if you keep moving forward with courage and faith. Even when things feel hard, stay focused on the vision because every step you take is leading you closer to the life you were meant to build.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
One of the biggest lies in the beauty industry is that it’s only about looks. People often think lashes, brows, and beauty services are just surface-level, when in reality they are deeply tied to confidence, self-care, and healing. A simple lash appointment can completely shift how someone feels about themselves, especially when it’s the only time they carve out for self-care.

Another lie is that success in this industry comes from chasing trends or quick results. The truth is, lasting success takes education, consistency, and heart. That’s why I created Mindful Beauty Academy to help artists build strong, sustainable businesses that stand on integrity and intention. Beauty is powerful, but it’s even more powerful when it’s done with purpose.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. Are you tap dancing to work? Have you been that level of excited at any point in your career? If so, please tell us about those days.
Yes, I still have those days. Of course, there are times when I need to step back and ground myself, but I am still excited every time I walk into my studio. I love knowing I get to create lash maps, help someone feel better about themselves, and maybe even give them the only self-care they’ll have all week. I’m also excited about teaching students the art of lashes and showing them how it can provide a new way of supporting themselves and their families. And honestly, I still love the simple joy of sitting down with my tweezers, being present in my craft, and remembering why I fell in love with this work in the first place.
