Emily & Brittany, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What is a normal day like for you right now?
A normal day for us usually starts with checking emails and responding to client requests for quotes. From there, we update our calendar and manage our social media—both posting content and engaging with followers. We also spend time reaching out to potential clients and exploring collaboration opportunities. On the operations side, we shop for orders, update supply lists, and place any necessary supply orders. Depending on the day, we may be making and delivering boards or setting up a full grazing table event. Each day is a mix of client communication, creative work, and hands-on event preparation
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Our names are Emily and Brittany, and we’re two best friends who started our business together just over two years ago. What began as a shared passion has grown into a licensed catering company where we specialize in creating elegant, artful grazing tables and charcuterie experiences that elevate any event. What makes our brand unique is not only the way we blend food and design to bring a touch of luxury to gatherings, but also the heart behind it: we’re building this dream while raising our children and balancing other careers. It’s been both challenging and incredibly rewarding, and we’re excited to keep growing, collaborating, and bringing memorable experiences to our clients
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
For us, the answer is each other. Before we could fully see our own potential, we saw it in one another. We’ve always believed in and encouraged each other, even on the days we doubted ourselves. That mutual trust and support is what gave us the courage to start this journey together and it’s still the foundation of everything we do
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If we could say one thing to our younger selves, it would be: don’t let others change who you are, and always believe in yourself. We’re capable of so much more than we realized back then, and with hard work and determination, we can truly do anything we set our minds to.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Whose ideas do you rely on most that aren’t your own?
Definitely each other. We’ve always trusted each other’s instincts and supported each other’s ideas, even when we weren’t sure ourselves. So much of what we’ve created and accomplished comes from that constant collaboration and the belief we have in one another.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. When do you feel most at peace?
We feel the most at peace when we’re doing what we love: creating elegant and delicious art for our clients’ special moments. There’s something so rewarding about bringing beauty and joy to someone else’s celebration. We also feel at peace when we’re with our families, enjoying the simple, meaningful moments at home
