Community Highlights: Meet Michelle Humphrey of REVAMP Holistic Health, LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Humphrey.

Hi Michelle, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?

I’ve been a nurse for over 30 years, most of that time in the ICU and later working with chronic disease management. I loved helping people, but when I hit menopause myself, I realized just how little support was out there for women. Even with all my medical training, I felt SO lost and frustrated.

That’s really what pushed me to start REVAMP Holistic Health. I wanted to take everything I’d learned as a nurse and everything I was learning in my own journey; create a space where women could finally feel heard, understood, and supported. Now I get to help women navigate menopause in a way that looks at the whole picture: mind, body, and spirit. It’s been such a rewarding shift, and honestly, I wouldn’t trade it for anything!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?

Definitely not a smooth road! I don’t think anyone’s journey really is. For me, the biggest struggle was going through menopause myself. Even with decades of nursing experience, I felt blindsided by how much it impacted my sleep, energy, weight and mood, Add in health issues along the way, and it was a lot to juggle while trying to show up for my family and career. Mostly, it was trying to show up for me in this new phase in my life.

On the business side, shifting from being a nurse in the hospital and then working for a huge company then to running my own company came with its own learning curve. I had to figure out marketing, pricing, and all the behind-the-scenes parts no one teaches you in nursing school. But every bump in the road has made me stronger and more determined. Honestly, those struggles are what make me so passionate about helping other women-they remind me why the work matters.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?

My business is called REVAMP Holistic Health, and I help women navigate perimenopause and menopause with a focus on the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. What I’m known for is making this stage of life feel less overwhelming and more empowering. Women come to me for support with sleep, anxiety, brain fog, weight, and over 100 symptoms they may experience with their overall health, and together we create a plan that fits their unique needs.

What really sets me apart is the way I blend my 30+ years as an advanced education nurse and certified case manager with a more holistic, personalized approach. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Some women do great with my carefully designed standard supplement blends, while others need fully customized formulas made just for them. I also partner with lab companies and physicians to offer functional labs, which give us a deeper look at what’s really going on inside so we can target the root causes instead of just masking symptoms.

Beyond working one-on-one, I’ve created a self-paced menopause program, I speak with international companies, and I’m currently developing workplace programs designed to help corporations support both men and women in understanding menopause and its impact in the office. It’s exciting to see this conversation finally getting the attention it deserves.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud that REVAMP isn’t about reinventing yourself-it’s about embracing who you are and making meaningful, lasting shifts so you can thrive in this next phase of life, not fight it. Whether it’s through coaching, supplements, lab testing, or workplace education, my goal is always to give women credible, compassionate support and a plan that truly works for them.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?

When it comes to finding a mentor and networking, I’ve found that the most effective approach is to be authentic and genuinely curious. Don’t think of it as a transaction where you’re trying to get something from someone. Instead, approach it as an opportunity to learn, to share, and to build meaningful relationships.

One thing that has worked well for me is to start with a clear understanding of what I want to learn. Who is doing the kind of work that I find inspiring? What are the skills or knowledge gaps I’m trying to fill? Once I have a good idea of that, I can be more intentional in seeking out people who can help me on that journey.

My advice for finding a mentor is to look for someone who isn’t just a leader in their field, but also someone who is a good listener and who genuinely enjoys helping others grow. It’s not always about finding the most famous person; sometimes the best mentors are the ones who are just a few steps ahead of you and can relate to your current challenges.

For networking in general, I think it’s crucial to be a good conversationalist. That means not just talking about yourself, but asking thoughtful questions and truly listening to the answers. Show genuine interest in what others are doing. Remember that every person you meet has a unique story and something valuable to share.

Finally, don’t be afraid to offer help and support to others. Networking is a two-way street. A powerful example of this is the community I’ve been fortunate enough to start and be a part of. I lead a Facebook group Menopause Symptoms and Solutions group that has grown to over 4,000 women across the globe. This group is a living testament to the power of mutual support. By being a resource for others and creating a space for shared experience, you’ll naturally attract people who want to be a resource for you. It’s about building a community of mutual support and shared success.
