Today we’d like to introduce you to LVF.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey began with a deep curiosity about the unseen forces that shape our lives. In 2008, I went down the rabbit hole of esoteric studies—Hermeticism, mysticism, dream symbolism—which eventually led me to the work of Carl Jung in 2011. His insights into the psyche resonated deeply, and I began what would become a lifelong commitment to shadow work and self-exploration.
At the same time, I was navigating personal struggles that I wasn’t aware I had: childhood trauma, abandonment wounds, and issues setting and keeping boundaries, especially in intimate relationships. My marriage became a mirror—one that forced me to confront the parts of myself I had long avoided. It wasn’t just about navigating a challenging relationship; it was about becoming whole.
The pain I endured before and after shadow work transformed into purpose, giving light to my upcoming book So, I Married My Shadow. This work became not only a container for my grief and growth, but a call to others navigating their own shadows. My aim is to help others recognize the healing potential in their pain as my story still unfolds.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s been anything but smooth. The road was cracked open by loss, identity crises, and the kind of isolation that forces you to stop mirroring others and finally go inward. One of the most painful chapters was facing the slow unraveling of my marriage. It wasn’t until I finally said ‘No’ and chose to prioritize my own healing that everything began to shift. That decision became the catalyst for my husband’s own radical self-examination and healing journey.
Every setback invited me to go deeper and learn to observe—not just what was happening to me—but what was being asked of me. Writing, shadow work, and creating were never separate from the healing—they were the healing. The road has been hard, yes, but it taught me how to alchemize pain into purpose and how to show up more fully for myself and others.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My work sits at the crossroads of psychology, mysticism, and the bittersweet lessons of lived experience. As a writer, I specialize in exploring the depths of the human shadow—the hidden fears, wounds, and patterns that often go unspoken but shape our lives in profound ways.
What I’m most proud of is how my work refuses to shy away from discomfort or easy answers. It’s unflinching, vulnerable, and deeply personal—because healing, for me, is not a polished destination but a messy, ongoing process. My writing invites readers not just to witness my journey but to learn more about their own.
Right now, I’m focused on writing several new books across genres—nonfiction works on psychology and self-awareness, deeper dives into spiritual and esoteric themes, and more poetry that captures the emotional undercurrents of the human experience. I’m also developing an online course called Master Self-Examination: A No BS Approach to Shadow Work, created to help people cut through the fluff and face themselves with clarity and courage. Beyond that, I’m staying open. This path has a way of revealing the next step as you walk it, and I’m here for wherever it leads.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I already see a major shift happening in the personal growth and healing space. More people are becoming self-aware, moving beyond surface-level wellness trends to prioritize deep, meaningful healing. Taking ownership of one’s inner world and shadow will no longer be seen as optional but as a necessary foundation for overall well-being. Healing won’t just be a personal journey; it will become a standard part of how we live, relate, and work. Shadow work itself will increasingly become a way of life—an ongoing practice of facing and integrating all parts of ourselves. At the same time, the arts and creative expression will play a larger role in healing, offering outlets for self-exploration, emotional release, and transformation. This growing collective awareness will foster more honest conversations, authentic connections, and transformational change—both individually and culturally. I can only imagine how much more powerful and transformative healing will become over the next decade.
