Inspiring Conversations with Amanda Hart of Untamed CreationZ LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Hart.

Hi Amanda, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Growing up, I was always that kid with paint on her hands, scissors in her bag, and a new project on the way. Art wasn’t just a hobby, it was how I explored the world. Pottery, wood shop, digital illustrations, sewing — if it involved creating something from scratch, I was in. If I haven’t tried it yet, it’s probably on my list of things to try next.

After graduating from the University of Tampa, I channeled my love for story telling into a career in marketing. I worked with multiple companies, helping them connect with their audiences through strategic campaigns, digital content, and social media. It was exciting, but over time, I realized something was missing. I was checking the right boxes professionally, but personally, I felt creatively stifled. No matter the job title or team I joined, the creative spark I craved just wasn’t there.

So, I took a leap and left the industry in search of something more fulfilling. Life, however, had other plans. A serious car accident forced me into a long period of recovery. Suddenly, my world slowed down, and for nearly a year, I was mostly at home — resting, reflecting, and, surprisingly, rediscovering myself.

That quiet season gave birth to something unexpected. With nothing but time on my hands and creativity bubbling to the surface, I started playing around with epoxy resin, making cute coasters and keychains. I found joy in the process. Then came vinyl art. Before I knew it, I had a collection of bold, beautiful pieces that not only brought me joy, but sparked interest from others too. That’s when it clicked: this was the creative element I had been searching for all along.

And just like that, Untamed CreationZ was born.

At Untamed CreationZ, we empower individuality and self-expression through bold, custom-made creations that celebrate the beauty of being unapologetically you. From hand-crafted journals to custom cups and apparel, everything we create is rooted in authenticity and joy. It’s more than just a product; it’s a reminder that creativity has no limits, and neither do you.

My journey has taught me that the long way around often leads you right to where you’re meant to be. And now, I get to spend every day building not just a business, but a vibrant, untamed community of creators, dreamers, and everyday magic-makers.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The journey of starting a business has been many things – transformative, empowering, humbling – but smooth? Not quite. And honestly, I’ve come to learn that it’s in the bumps and detours where the real growth happens.

One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced is simply not giving up. That might sound simple, but when you’re putting your heart into your work and the results feel slow or invisible, doubt creeps in fast. You start questioning your purpose, your progress, your place in the market, everything. It can feel like you’re shouting into the void. But that is exactly when you have to lean in. Dig your heels into your why. Keep creating, keep showing up, keep believing – especially when it’s hard.

Whenever I hit that wall, I look back to the beginning and remind myself of how far I’ve come. I turned an idea, born in the middle of recovery, into a full-fledged brand. That’s not nothing. That’s everything.

Another hurdle? Letting go of expectations, both personal and societal. We all like to believe that our friends and family will be our biggest cheerleaders, and sometimes they are. But often, your first one hundred sales come from total strangers, and your first one hundred doubts come from the people closest to you. Not because they don’t care, but because they don’t yet see the vision as clearly as you do. And that’s okay. Their support may not always look the way you expect it to, but keep going anyway.

Then there’s social media, where it’s easy to fall into the trap of comparing yourself to others. I’ve had videos go semi-viral — thousands of views and barely any likes or sales. It’s discouraging, but I remind myself: people are still watching. Just because they haven’t hit “like” doesn’t mean your work isn’t resonating. Some are silently rooting for you. Some are saving your page for later. Some are waiting for the right moment to support. And when it comes to followers? Five hundred people might not seem like much until you imagine them all in a room, cheering you on. That’s powerful.

The truth is, it all comes down to perspective. Growth doesn’t always look like a straight line. Progress isn’t always public. But I find that if you stay grounded in your purpose, trust your process, and keep showing up, the right people – your people – will find you. Every obstacle I’ve faced has helped shape not only Untamed CreationZ but the person I’ve become because of it.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Untamed CreationZ LLC?
Untamed CreationZ is more than a business—it’s a creative movement rooted in self-expression, individuality, and joy. Whether it’s a journal that inspires your daily affirmations or a cup that makes you smile every morning, our goal is to make everyday items feel personal, empowering, and unapologetically YOU.

We’re known for our attention to detail, creative designs, and the energy we infuse into each product. And if you’ve ever received a package from us, you know the experience is part of the magic—we’re all about thoughtful touches from start to finish.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the fact that Untamed CreationZ has become a safe and expressive space—for me and for my customers. It’s a brand that celebrates creativity without limits and gives people permission to show up in the world as their full, unfiltered selves. Every time someone tells me, “This feels like me,” I know I’m doing what I was meant to do.

To readers who may be discovering us for the first time: Untamed CreationZ is where your vibe meets our vision. Whether you’re looking for a custom piece that speaks to your soul or something special to gift someone else, we’ve got you. And if you don’t see it in the shop? We’ll create it together. That’s the beauty of Untamed—we don’t fit in a box, and we don’t ask you to either.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Over the next five to ten years, I see the custom and handmade industry continuing to grow, but with more purpose. People are becoming more intentional about what they buy and who they support. There’s a major shift happening where consumers are looking beyond mass-produced items and gravitating toward products that tell a story, support small businesses, and reflect their identity. That’s exactly where businesses like Untamed CreationZ thrive.

I think we’ll also see a deeper appreciation for personalization and creative authenticity. As technology evolves and AI becomes more integrated into content and product creation, handcrafted work will become even more valuable. People will crave the human touch, the imperfect beauty, and the uniqueness that only human creators can offer.

Another shift I anticipate is the merging of product and experience. It won’t just be about what you sell, but how you make people feel. The way you connect with your audience online, the community you build, and the intentionality behind your brand will all matter just as much as the product itself.

Sustainability will also play a major role in the future of the industry, as consumers grow increasingly mindful of how products are made and where materials are sourced. Shoppers want products with a purpose and a conscience. So, businesses that prioritize eco-friendly practices and transparency will have a huge advantage.

Overall, the future is bright for creatives who are willing to evolve, stay true to their voice, and continue creating from the heart. I believe there will always be a place and a deep appreciation for art that’s made with love and intention.
