Rising Stars: Meet Sined The Chosen

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sined The Chosen.

Hi Sined, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I always wanted to do music since I first listened to artists on the radio in 3rd grade. When I really took a leap of faith was when I turned 19 and told my barber I was interested in music. It wasn’t the best studio equipment we were working with but it allowed us to experiment with sound and gain experience. Eventually, I was able to afford going to a professional studio and we took off from there.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The biggest struggle was telling my family I wanted to pursue a music career. I was raised in a Hispanic household so you know they’re adamant about your studies. Finances were also a huge struggle because pursuing this career independently takes tens of thousands of dollars of investment.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am recording artist and aspiring music mogul. I love to entertain and give value to my audience. I am proud to say I am a businessman first, if I did not have love for the music business and its potential, I probably wouldn’t pursue it in the first place. I differ from many of my peers due to my background, and my confidence. There isn’t any male Afro-Latino artists doing records the way I am. I’m constantly myself because I believe that is the best way to grow and influence others.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs, or other resources you think our readers should check out?
I’m not much of a book guy because I will fall asleep if I’m focused on one thing for an amount of time, but I have been listening to some of the podcasts in the Tampa area, the Sweeterman Podcast, Grahm radio, and the Pour Up podcast. I would strongly recommend all of them.
