Today we’d like to introduce you to Cassandra Hutchison.
Hi Cassandra, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I have always been into beauty and skincare. I started seeing an esthetician when I was 20 (I know that is really young) but I was always interested in preventative skincare treatments and how products can help positively impact our skin. There is no “one size fits all” approach to skin.
That is why I enjoy curating treatments for each client that I treat. I have always been detailed oriented and have a “chemist” brain where I like to figure out the how and why things work. Because I started treating my skin at an early age, I decided that was my passion and put myself in esthetics school while simultaneously raising three young children.
I knew what I wanted to specialize in (advanced medical skin care treatments) before I graduated and I have spent the last 14 years perfecting my skill and specializing in corrective skin care. I constantly continue educating myself on new treatments, products, and protocols for hard-to-treat skincare concerns. Many estheticians do not treat all skin types, but I pride myself on treating every ethnicity and skin type.
This is very important in Florida, as we have so much diversity I am able to offer a solution to everyone because I am results-driven. So whether a client is struggling with ice pick scarring (a very severe type of acne scarring) loss of volume and skin elasticity, and/or melasma, I have an approach and resolution for every skin condition.
Monthly treatments with your esthetician combined with professional skincare products at home are my recipe for healthy, beautiful skin. Consistency is key!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Is there ever a smooth road? Hahaha in all seriousness, I feel that some of my prior work challenges have helped mold me into the esthetician I am today. I had intense training where I performed the same service over and over until it was perfected.
I learned first impressions are everything and your appearance is your business card, so I have always represented myself with pride and accountability for my profession, I am the example for my clients, education is everything- the more knowledge I have to share, the better.
I have worked for dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and medical spas where I gained knowledge about treating clients in many different work environments. As a practitioner, I think it’s important to “grow through” different challenges because experience comes with time and practice makes perfect (and with my work I am a perfectionist!).
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a licensed medical esthetician specializing in corrective skincare treating all skin types and ethnicities. As a MEDICAL esthetician, all of my areas of expertise are overseen by a medical doctor.
What this means is advanced treatment options, not “foo-foo” facials, I am results-driven. I love a challenge, whether it’s melasma, acne scarring, or collagen loss, I know I can help my clients with any skin concerns they may have.
I am known for Plasma Pen Fibroblast Therapy Treatments and CIT (collagen induction therapy) Micro-needling. What sets me apart is the way I formulate each treatment in a way that far exceeds routine protocol. I combine my advanced techniques with a keen eye for detail to maximize results. I feel like the skin is my canvas and the technique and treatment are an art.
Plasma Pen Fibroblast Therapy (PPFT) is an extremely powerful tool that I utilize for long-lasting results. It is an innovative take on a non-surgical treatment that delivers surgical results. It is not a laser, there are no needles, and there is less downtime than surgery, PPFT utilizes plasma energy to lift and tighten the skin, minimize fine lines and wrinkles and create new collagen and elastin.
While most people focus on areas of volume loss on the face (around the eyes, jowls, etc.) the plasma pen can treat any area that has loose, crepy skin. This is especially helpful for people who have lost weight, have stretch marks, or any areas that have elasticity. It truly is incredible technology. I offer complimentary consultations for each client to discuss his or her concerns, before and aftercare, as well as pricing.
Pricing varies depending on the area (small, medium, and large) as well as individual anatomy. You can expect a small area (like a brow lift or a lip flip) to cost up to $300. Other areas that can be treated and discussed are smoker’s lines, chin dimpling, under eyes, eyelids, above the knees, flanks, stretchy skin on the abdomen, and more.
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Going on summer vacation with family to the Abacos in the Bahamas. We snorkeled dove, and did many other adventurous outdoor activities. The water was so pretty it is still one of my favorite places to visit.
