Today we’d like to introduce you to Kim Hildreth
Hi Kim, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve been an athlete all my life. High school and college volleyball, and now professional beach volleyball. This path led me to have a deep and personal interest in health and fitness. Loving the game of volleyball led me on this journey of constant self-growth and discovery. I learned that I love the journey – results are great, especially when they mean more cash! But I love the feeling of growth and getting better at something. This feeling is what sparked my interest in health coaching – as a holistic health coach, I help people find this feeling for themselves. As a behavior change specialist I find deep joy in helping people learn to love the journey of growth and personal happiness.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Oh, my journey has never been smooth. In my career as an athlete, I was constantly told I wasn’t good enough, athletic enough, tall enough, etc. Yet, I found myself continuing to succeed. Society and other people’s opinions have always been a barrier – but my journey through this as an athlete taught me resiliency. Two things have been a constant for me in life – I’ve always gone with my gut, and I’ve always found ways to pivot when the road I ‘thought’ I was going down didn’t appear. One of the biggest struggles I faced when starting my health coaching business was the uncertainty of how to start. When I first got into health coaching, I was SO SURE that I would NOT want to have my own business. I was totally content with the idea of getting hired by a major health coaching company so I’d have benefits, have clients, and have a stable paycheck. Well, after applying to numerous companies without much luck – my gut told me this was the sign to go for it on my own. There have definitely been learning curves along the way, but like I help coach people through periods of their lives, I sought help from mentors and coaches to get my business started.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Health Coaching with Kim?
I provide holistic health & wellness coaching services. My business transforms people’s lives from illness or mediocrity to true wellness. Wellness is the experience of living life with high levels of awareness, conscious choice, self-acceptance, interconnectedness, love, meaning, and purpose. Wellness is NOT simply the absence of illness. True health is a life with physical health, meaningful social relationships, depth of purpose, and a deep sense of peace. As a health coach, I specialize in helping people make behavior and lifestyle changes with the intention of living longer, more vibrant, and more fulfilling lives. In the health coaching business, I am known for being a genuinely good listener with a powerful intuition. My clients leave my three month program transformed – a more positive outlook on life, a deeper sense of self-awareness and love, more control over their nutrition and movement, and feeling momentum in the direction of positive life changes. What sets me apart is my years of practice in this for myself – my journey as a professional athlete requires constant self-assessment. I have had to work on my own self-growth holistically to reach the level of professionalism, and in this way, I know what it takes to help this become a natural part of my client’s lives. I’m most proud of my brand’s reach and authenticity. I am not perfect – life is not about perfectionism. I’m proud of myself for leading by example, sharing my failures along with my wins, and constantly looking to better myself, my character, and that of the community around me. My services are life-changing! If you or someone you know is looking for MORE out of life – more joy, more freedom, more confidence, more depth, more self-love, reach out to me! I offer a FREE 30-minute breakthrough call to anyone interested in learning more about my services.
